Just can’t stand to get his paws dirty. Avoids all dirt and grass in favor of paved areas and refuses to walk outside in the rain.

Barley's Story:

Barley came into the shelter system as a puppy with 6 littermates. By spring 2004, after an entire year, the other puppies were all adopted, but Barley was still waiting for a home. When the right family finally came, Barley won their hearts by rolling over to ask for a belly rub as soon as they met him. To this day, he hasn't stopped rolling over to win their affection. Barley considers himself a dignified gentleman - he prefers to sit on furniture instead of dog beds, and doesn't feel the need to run when a simple walk will do.
